 Position Summary/Job Overview:

Verb Communication’s Brand Communications Specialist is responsible for developing content for Verb’s brands for use across multiple platforms including social media, video and websites. The incumbent delivers a world-class communication and strategic plan to our clients and provides superior client relationship management of new and existing clients. The Brand Communications specialists is also the producer of Verb’s cutting edge radio show.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Provides General Account Management
  • Identifies and mines the potential for new business from existing client
  • Drafts press releases and other client communication
  • Manages media relations
  • Serves as a content writer for the company
  • Spearheads content creation for digital and Social Media marketing for all assigned projects
  • Designs basic graphics for campaigns
  • Successfully manages client engagement
  • Designs branded presentations and proposal writing and updates existing presentations as directed
  • Develops strategic plans for branding/marketing opportunities
  • Leads brand awareness initiatives
  • Assists in the creation of Brand Wheels and Style Guides
  • Conceptualizes, designs and Implements creative graphics and content for both print and digital media
  • Collaborates with the leadership team to confirm marketing objectives, creative direction and brand consistency

 Qualifications:

To function effectively in this role, you must have at minimum the following qualifications, experience and characteristics:

  •  BSc in Marketing from a reputable institution
  • Four years experience in the field of Marketing/ Brand Communication
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with a variety of advertising campaigns, including B2B and B2C
  • Experience working with WordPress and other web content management tools
  • Ability to work effectively with MS Office package
  • Strong experience with social media marketing campaigning
  • Excellent presentation skills.
